Note to self - Don’t plug in the Peco Boiler until there’s some water in it!

Noooooo! Gutted for you, hope easy to move all the fittings on to a new bucket.

I’m so annoyed with myself. I was gonna just get another bucket but I don’t have the drill bits needed so would have had to buy those too. Just bit the bullet and ordered a new Peco on the premise I’ll then have a spare tap and element!

Get down wilko and buy a paddle drill bit - will be about £5 tops plus they have discount on their brew kit now so can get a cheap bucket. Could be brewing today...

Then at worst when you'd other arrives you have a urn to heat sparge water.

Well, I did manage to get a small brew on by temporarily overriding the cut out switch on an old tea urn and using that so I got 10 litres of beer in the FV.

My new Peco arrived yesterday but, unfortunately, they've sent the wrong bucket. I has three holes instead of two. The additional one is supposed to house the temp probe on the digital one I think. I really want to get another brew on this weekend but the replacement won't arrive until Monday. The hole is the same size as the one for the tap. Do you think I'll be able to temporarily attached the tap from the old Peco to plug the hole? I'm just a bit worried that it is so close and just above the element!
