I have an Exmoor Gold planned, the malted barley I have been using presently is Voyager Valeria, the maltsters suggest it is a malt better used on its own, so this will be the first brew with this malt solo.
But my next brew hopefully Thursday, will be a clone of Samuel Smiths Old Brewery Bitter.

Thank you for those kind words. Glad it came out well. I remember you said you were thinking of a slight modification to the malt profile. Did you go through with it and, if so, what did you add? I haven't knocked up my second batch yet and I'll try it your way.The first taste of my attempt to replicate @An Ankoù's delicious Red X IPA. It's only been in the bottle a few days but this is already the best IPA I've ever brewed, thanks again An

Cleaned up my Sierra Nevada glass for tonight's session of Zombie Dust clone. Going down alright as do most beers, but comparing an American IPA to a English IPA, the balance of an English IPA wins hands down.

Nice to here such kind words for English IPA- I don't think Greene King have done the genre any favours. What's your favourite recipe for an English IPA?

My Bass pale ale, taken from Brew Your Own, I may have tweaked it a bit but for me there is nothing better. I was reading that Worthington White Shield is the same beer but looking at the recipes they are different. Last time I was in the UK I bought a Worthington (from a keg served at about 3 C)and it was terrible.

Yes I brewed it as per the recipe I posted here, with some Munich, wheat, and caramunich added. I'm not sure it's an improvement on your version, but the malt flavours are a little richer which is what I intended
I'd love to send you a bottle but I don't know how to do that??
