New Styrian hop varieties

Recently acquired 100g each of Styrian Dragon and Styrian Wolf hops. Planning a SMASH for the Styrian Dragon with Golden Promise to see what they are all about, but curious if anyone has any experience with either of these hops?
 
You have more patience than I do @Cheshire Cat. I always have a taste when taking hydrometer readings, 1/4 pint at bottling, and certainly would have tried a bottle at the 2 week mark! Let us know how it turns out after conditioning.
 
The Syrian Wolf isnt that new (although it's relatively new). I won some styrian wolf(along with a number of other styrian hops) a a few years ago from GEB. I seem to remember liking it well enough but definately not being blow away by it. Styrian Dragon is newer I believe
 
Sorry I can't help with the above ones specifically, but I've recently started using Aurora (Super Styrian) for bittering and it is magnificent.
 
I’ve used Styrian Wolf recently for an IPA and really like it, one of the best beers I’ve made. Quite a strong tropical fruit taste especially mango. There was a bit of Styrian Cardinal in there too.

Ah yes, I remember coming across that post of yours, ended up using Bobek in a nice bitter based on it.

Thanks for the info, will consider using the Wolf in a NEIPA.
 
I've been impressed with Aurora, as well.

I originally choose it because of it's relatively low cohumulone levels couple with a decent amount of alpha acids. Works out so well. Quite an assertive bitterness, but rounded instead of sharp or lingering.

Yep. It's nice later in the boil or as a dry hop, too.
