Will you be paying for this?

I don't have netflix and won't be paying to watch stuff I didn't the first time it was shown, will you.

Strangely enough, being asked to pay to watch content that I've already paid for once through the licence fee does not appeal to me.

I'd be very surprised if BritBox lasts beyond a couple of years.

I think Netflix is good value, very well designed and is making some really good TV.

I can't vote in the poll as I have Netflix but will not be subscribing to BritBox!

I don't subscribe to Netflix as I barely have enough time to watch the broadcast TV that I've recorded let alone anything else. By the time the kids have been put to bed the wife and I will sit down to watch an episode of some drama, comedy program etc. and if we're lucky stay awake until the end.

Certainly won't be signing up to BritBox (or Amazon or Sky).

I think our small poll will reflect the view of most people I cannot see this being the new netflix or being a big success.

I habe a feeling they will try and get as many people subscribing (probably will end up reducing their own iplayer offers) and then off the back of that look to do new shows. I am not sure I am comfortable with Bbc being involved in new shows that the licence payer cant watch

I doubt licence payers would stand for that.

I heard an interview with someone yesterday and they said the goal would be for one if their new shows to win an Emmy (like netflix have done). Not sure how it works but i thought it was a joint venture between the bbc, itv etc
