Is it just me who enjoys the occasional sour beer?

Wouldn't make a big batch of it but I do enjoy the odd bottle/can now and then.

I did a blackberry stout that got infected and if it weren't for knowing about sour beers I'd had just caned the bottles into the canal. They were gushers, oh they were gushers but at the end of it what wasn't on the ceiling was sour and I thought ok, let's pretend this is a style and I've just got to get used to it. And it worked. It really did. This was before I had an actual sour beer.

And when I finally tried as sour were they at all comparable? Were they fu... actually yes they were, the start of this sentence was me just mucking about.

I like a sour too, I did a IPA with rhubarb and no lactose to sweeten it, lovely taste with a sour back taste (know its not a sour but a compromise)

Me too, once in a while. They're good to have with food. Particularly like that Belgian Oude thingy that I can't pronounce.

I discovered that I don't really like beverages with an added sour. I say beverages because there are actually three I don't like because of it: Guiness, Rodenbach and certain coffees with a sour taste, esp. Ethopian coffee.

I do like gueuze and lambic, but I classify these as tart, not sour.
