last bottle of my chocolate stout acheers.
This. Not bad for a change, as well as my Golden Stag, which is maturing nicely.

Happy Friday everyone! acheers.
Celebrating the end of a long working week with a glass of my last hazy, hoppy effort, fermented with Manchester ale yeast.
Nice sweet juicy fruit aroma coming through after 4 weeks in the keg but the flavour isn't great

Started with a pint of my first Kolsch using David Heaths recipe, it's only been in the bottle a few weeks but is tasting really good already could definitely get a taste for it.

Next up is my clone attempt of northern monks faith, really enjoying it maybe my fav beer that I have brewed so far.

took my boy to schools Christmas fair, two goes on the bottle stall lucky dip and got this and a bottle of bloody shlouer. Thought my luck was in when I saw a woman walking away with a bottle of bailey's and a bottle of red

On holiday and enjoying a rather fine selection of red wines that we have accrued this year- opened a magnum of Dominique Laurent Marsannay 2014 athumb..

This. The last time (and only time actually) I had this was on tap at the brewery and it was so much better. The noble hop flavours were so fresh and lovely compared to this bottle. Disappointing.

Wilko Mexican cervesa pimped with light dme and dry hopped with citra from cml and I must say they are by far the best I have had from anywhere, its a great beer no twang at all no off flavours its not a world beater just a nice easy drinking beer

They do two different IPAs and the one that's stronger is bloody awful. The American style one can sometimes be amazing, other times dull and dead. Just like with the Lidl beers. No idea if it's manufacturing or storage. When it's good I love it. It's like a slightly less bright version of Shipyard IPA.

I can't wait until my first batch of homebrew in ages is ready (which is also mild, lol)

Good lad. Mild is underrated even in its current form.

I've just had the very last bottle of the Doom Bar 'clone' that I put in a pressure barrel, left for months, found the barrel lid had cracked (it was new!) and reprimed and put into bottles. It was tit cold and not really much going on, then as it warmed this dank orange peel flavour started to grow and it got tons loads better. It's sod all like Doom Bar and a little resinous and I'm so glad I didn't just tip it all in the brook. 7/10.
