Hi all, newbie here. ...
Got myself a wilko cerveza kit to start with. Its currently been in the fermenting bucket for 5 days.
The lid is bulgung, am I supposed to be using one of those bubble air locks?
It doesn't have a hole in the lid to fit one, or should I just leave it be?

Welcome to the forum. Dont worry about an airlock if you dont want to get one. The CO2 will escape from under the lid. I've never used an airlock.

I spend a ridiculous amount of my working life in Chessington. I work as a community support worker and spent half my life on the 71 bus
 
OK thanks, should I leave the lid loose then or keep it tightly sealed?

Lol the famous 71 goes nearly right past my house
 
Well I think it might be air tight... Its lid us bulging and as tight as a drum!
 
Welcome Nick. Get yourself an airlock and grommet and fit it before your next brew, would be my advice, and for the moment, lift an edge just to be sure that the case can, indeed, escape. There won't be any danger of anything getting in will the pressure inside is greater than outside.
I had a brew earlier in the year, which came out a bit over-length, the FV was pretty much airtight and the yeast (Wyeast 1469 West Yorkshire) which I hadn't tried before produced a massive head which plugged the air lock hole. Nearly had a right old mess to clear up, but just caught it in time.
 
Yes, I've pressed on the lid and the gas comes out so I guess it's all OK.
It's day 7 of fermentation today and when I had a sneaky look its still getting bubbles rising to the top... As I understand it, I should leave it until this stops, correct?

welcome to the forum, Nick. Brewing in chessington you'll find is a world of adventures! athumb..

I use an airlock but others dont. I prefer to see it bubbling and I don't open the lid until the liquid in the airlock (diluted starsan) has equalized. I had a cider that was finished in 7 days but I usually leave the fermentation for 2-3 weeks as I usually brew high ABV drinks.
 
Also Hi from Chessington. Chessington Close that is in Warrington. All the roads on our estate are named after Home Counties places. Bet there's no Warrington street in Chessington.
