It does taste pretty good. The flavour isn't really my cup of tea, but I shall definitely be drinking the rest, but it tastes similar to the woodfordes wherry you can buy in a bottle so I'm calling it a success.

I've been a bit concerned that they've not been carbing up, but this has allayed my fears. Looking forward to cracking open the Canadian blonde next.

When I did a couple of Wherry kits some time back I found that they were much improved after about 6 weeks conditioning and continued to improve marginally for some time after that. So my suggestion to you is to go easy on drinking your Wherry for a while, but if you can't do that at least keep one or two back for a couple of months to see how they have changed. The Canadian Blonde however should be ready for drinking early if I remember correctly. Interestingly your two kit choices are at opposite ends of the kit taste spectrum as far as I'm concerned. One is very pale, almost bland, whereas the other is very full bodied and malty. If I'm honest I was a not big fan of either beer, but that's just me, and so I hope you enjoy them both.
 
To be honest I'm more a mild ale/blondes and lagers man. I only did the woodfordes because it was on the shelf in wilko's and I figured it would be a better quality product than their home brand kits. I have about 20 bottles of the wherry conditioning in the conservatory so these will last me long enough to see how the taste matures.

I think the blonde will be more to my pallette, and I've read it's easily tweakable. I also have a coopers european lager in the fv which I shall be bottling tomorrow, I'm just cold crashing it now to try to get that extra bit of clarity.

I suggest you follow the Coopers instructions and condition your Euro lager for the 12 weeks/3 months they recommend. Although it is drinkable before, in my view it's a lot better for longer conditioning, especially in a cold place.
