In all honesty, I do like these results shows. You normally have a good indication by about 2am on the probable outcome. But funny how the most media attentive polling company which happens to favour the Tories is owned by a major Tory supporter eh?. But these polls do have a large margin of error as the last election & referendum has shown. So I still think the outcome could go either way. If its a hung parliament then it will come down to who is willing to work with who.

Hammered it all day in SE London. Polling station is round corner for me and it was still unpleasant enough. Can imagine it has put a few folk off.

I shall be avoiding the dread result just in case. I'll likely watch something light hearted to take my mind of things and if things go well I shall celebrate tomorrow by drinking enough to numb a small horse.

So who here will be watching the results come in ̶a̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶e̶x̶c̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶y̶ ̶u̶p̶ ̶l̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶d̶r̶i̶n̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶h̶o̶m̶e̶b̶r̶e̶w̶ because of their keen interest in UK politics?

Wasnt planning to but I think I might now, having read your post

I wont be watching much after midnight as i have to be up early in the morning.

Its been coming down like stair rods all day here but it didn't put me off going to the polling station, everyone who can vote should.

Still have to go to work tomorrow, today I'm staying longer at work for special event - not related to election - so thankfully I will be away from news feed till at least 10pm. Will probably go to bad at 11 and hope to wake up to news I want :)

Had been planning to watch it, but now have to be up at silly o'clock to drive to a funeral in the morning, so will catch the last knockings. Just hope the weather has improved by then.

The best move I ever made was applying for a postal vote about 12 years ago, because I was working away so much at the time. Once registered, you get them for ever more.

Raining cats and dogs here too. I went for a short walk after I voted to get the rest of my 10,000 steps in for the day

Ive been reading on the Guardian comments that there's been loads of problems with postal votes (especially if you're outside the UK) with people not recieving them

I had a day's leave left that I can't carry over, so got Friday off.
I've got some coopers real ale, simply Yorkshire bitter, GH ruby, GW TT and vanilla stout....
What could go wrong? Oh yeah, the bleeding election.

I agree evreyone who can vote should vote. Ive always voted. local elections, Parish council elections, general elections & refferendems I used to love politics . But after the last shambles where we were lied to by all parties and people started stamping their feet and chucking their toys out the pram because they did'nt get the result they wanted I think nah f*ck em none of them deserve my vote so unfortunately I wont be voting.

You not voting is what they want. Then can ignore you and target certain groups. Why do you think young people constantly get fecked over and pensioners get a triple locked pension?
