Just waiting on a delivery of hops and DM before trying my first Old Tom Ale. I've just started drinking an old ale I made on October, so I hope this turns out half as good.
5440 g Pale malt
455 g Crystal 60L
455 g White Sugar
155 g Chocolate malt
750 g Dry Malt Extract - Amber
7.26 kg Total
Hops

45 g East Kent Goldings @ 60 mins
30 g East Kent Goldings @ 10 mins

Looks good. Is this your Old Tom recipe or the ale from October?

Above is the Old Tom recipe. ..ish

The other old ale was a test as I only had Saaz:
6 kg Pale Malt
300 g Crystal 60L
300 g Chocolate
250 g Torrified Wheat
650 g Sugar
70g Saaz @60 mins
30g Saaz @10 mins

I will be making this one again, and bottle it for as long as I can leave it alone. It's in a barrel in the garage, and I draw of about 1/2 pint now and again, it just get better.

Here’s mine, pretty similar to yours, I had some Candy Sugar to use up, included some oats for body and used a bit of magnum for bittering. It’s bottled about 4 weeks and will be ready to drink over Christmas, I sampledone a week ago it was very moreish indeed. I think I got 1.076 down to 1.016 so about 8.1-8.2%.
