Hi all, Christmas has arrived slightly early in my house, with santa bringing his 25kg sack of Maris otter and the Greg Hughes bible. Have any of you been good this year? Or is it sacks of coal all round?

A 12L Spiedel FV and Grainfather wortometer from my mum, think the in-laws are getting me watercolour supplies as I started trying my hand at painting a couple of months ago. Everyone else is a bit of a surprise which will probably mean vouchers.

Digiboil 35l turbo boiler, coopers starter kit with ( i think) Mexican Cerveza kit.

Nothing to do with brewing. Me and Mrs Cwrw a long time ago decided that the only way to get what you actually want is to buy it yourself - this year I've got me a new knife (ostensibly for use around the farm but mainly because it's a thing of beauty) and she's got a new stapler (obviously a good one as it cost £160 - she does upholstery).

I bought myself a Tilt hydrometer- when it arrived the invoice was stuck on the outside so it was difficult to hide the fact that I’d spent 120 quid on it! Then my husband said “I could’ve bought you that” - damn didn’t think he’d want to buy brewing stuff.

just had this delivered. .I wonder who it's for and what's inside?

I'm getting an upright sous vide machine from someone which made me realise I can use it as a temperature controller in my builders trug+ water bath fermentor setup . That counts right? :)

Where do you get them for £120? Cheapest i've seen is £142.
