Beer pump lights

I have got a second hand t-bar beer pump. The cable supplying the lights have been cut, I see a orange and a purple wire.. do I need a transformer? Or can they be wired to a plug I.e brown and blue wires.. any help greatly received

Have a look at the bulb, if 220/240v then just put plug on it. If less i.e.12v then you need transformer.
 
The vast majority need a 12v or 24v transformer as said do look if it has a bulb which will have the voltage on it
 
Can't seem to get to the bulbs As the fronts seem to be sealed but it looks like they are connected to a circuit board which has 5v stamped in it.. maybe Led's ?
 
I advise not to wire them into a plug ,previously done this and blew the lights out my pumps
