Hi folks, new member in here in need of some advice.

I currently have a ‘brew dog Punk IPA brewing kit’ which I started on Thursday, everything was fine and I bottled the wort in the gallon bottle. The next day the fermentation process started and the airlock was producing bubbles with the wort creating a foam on the top, which seems fine. The next day when I wake up, the bottle has stopped bubbling and the yeast has separated (what looks like) from the liquid and sitting at the bottom. Any ideas what could be the problem? And how to fix?

Thanks in advance

Sounds normal. I just had a blonde ale finish fermentation in less than three days.

What temp do you have it at? If it's above 15 it's probably about done.

Even if it's finished fermenting quickly I'd still leave it until 2 weeks before bottling. It still needs to clean up and it's better for that to be happening in bulk, rather than the bottle. " weeks after bottling it's ready to try. It does seem to have finished in a ridiculously short time. Hope it wasn't too warm.

When the conditions are right yeast can eat through the sugars incredibly quickly. I have had low gravity beers hit final gravity inside 36 hours. That said thanks to using a tilt it’s worth saying that a lot of my batches will see a surge of activity, drop from say 1.040 to 1.015 in a couple of days, then take a week or more to drop the last few points to its final gravity.

However regardless I have to agree with Duxuk that it’s worth leaving it for a couple weeks giving it time for the yeast to fully finish up, and the beer to clear before bottling even if it has hit final gravity.
