No,it's the Southern Gold Digger Lager.

I thought the Perle hops were mingling to start with,as per usual I was wrong.

I've done that one, tasted like a pale ale to me, I'd drank it before I realised as per usual, maybe needed a few months to settle

This is a Wilko Light Golden Lager with a litre of Tesco Grapefruit Juice and 0.5kg of Muntons Beer Enhancer added before fermentation and a Hop Tea made from Cascade after transfer to a 25 litre PB.

The brew was started on 11th December and gets better every day! It's the closest brew yet to the Batemans Gold that I was trying to emulate. i.e. it's delicious!

Quaffing a Youngs Harvest pils, doesn't smell (yeasty) or look (cloudy) too good but is in fact quite drinkable.

Tinsel Toes, too late for Christmas as intended and I was fairly disappointed on trying first bottle after recommended time very twangy, however now 6 weeks in bottle and it’s a different beer! Smooth malty and no twang!

Dorada.
I do like Tenerife, but the constant diet of ice cold pilsner can get a bit monotonous......
Can't wait to get home and try the Festival NZ Pilsner that went in the keg just before we came away.....
Always bottled it before.

Watching the rugby with my last two bottles of St Peters cream stout, been in the bottle for two years tomorrow ! Absolutely stunning , smooth , creamy with a slight chocolate bitterness & a liquorice finish. Why didn’t I keep 12 bottles ? asad.:beer1:acheers.

Sound effects are "Loud sobs!" 'cos the photograph is of the last two Wilko Light Golden Lager Kit with Grapefruit Juice.

The brew was completed on the last few days of 2019 and first tasted at the beginning of the year. It tasted as near to a Batemans Gold as I have ever made (after more than a few attempts) and it will be back on the menu (probably using a Coopers European Lager Kit) this summer.
