I don't remember Just a Minute but Sale of the Century was one of my parents favourites.

Christopher Nicholas Parsons CBE was an English actor and radio and television presenter. He was the long-running presenter of the comedy radio show Just a Minute and hosted the game show Sale of the Century during the 1970s and early 1980s. Wikipedia

He did a lot with the Benny Hill show as a stooge/straight man always came across as a lovely man when interviewed RIP

Just a minute has been a favourite of mine since I was a child (I'm 58 now). I wonder if the BBC will retire it now or find a new chairman like they did with I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue when Humph died.

Been enjoying just a minute since my wife introduced me to radio 4 - 41 years ago. Cripes.

Sad loss, he was very amusing and generous to his panellists. Maybe Stephen Fry or Graham Norton will take over. As long as it's not that ghastly Brandreth.
