View attachment 22674 Last keg dregs of my hazy as F*8*k Eldorado , Citra & Mosaic pale ale. Sorry to see this go. Just brewed a coopers pale tweak with 300gm of flaked oats, carapils mini mash , wheat dme , light dme With a Citra, galaxy & mosaic hop tea, followed by , at high Krausen a dry hop & then a further dry hop 4 days before kegging. Hope it’s as good as this beauty. Cheers !
That's a quare tweak, mate.

It all starts with giving in for just one teeny tiny month and then her sentences begin with if you loved me, before you know it you have metamorphasized into the guy she wanted instead of you. ashock1

after an imprompu late night shift discussion I found out ALL my colleagues had aggro from their other half about....
a) how much they drank
b) going out with friends for a drink

I felt so much better hearing I'm not alone that I'm off to brewdog swansea tomorrow. Business meeting obviously

Probably a few...Mrs Clint convinced me to paint the bathroom...after doing a rather splendid job,in good time. I was tidying up and thought the extractor fan was a bit noisy so in my infinate wisdom decided to give it a gentle tap...this stopped it.. completely.
Off to Screwfix for a new one which when fitting involved me standing on a beer crate in the bath drilling holes cutting my finger blah blah blah...
Anyway..it's in and working but my OCD spies it off level by a few mm...I DON'T CARE!

Inspiring tale Clint. The extractor in our en suite has been kaput for ages, and I have hitherto consigned it to the too difficult box. I might now have a couple more on the way home, nip by Screwfix on the industrial estate next to the station and get this sorted. I relied on the noise to drown out the sound of my morning ablutions. What level of sprky skills does one need to carry out such an operation?

I'm no expert..so if you're not sure get a man in!
But...mine is a timer type which is linked to the light switch and runs for a while after the light is switched off.
It is wired with three wires..live,live from light and neutral..it doesn't use the earth. I just took a photo of the wiring terminal as the new one had the terminals in a different order, easy as they're marked. I found drilling the wall the worst bit as unless you get the same model backplates never line up!
I fitted the plate, wired it then switched the breaker back on to see if it worked..all was good so cover on.
Like I said though...IF YOU CAN'T DO IT OR ARE UNSURE... LEAVE IT!!!

Festival Belgian dubbel kit made back in September 2019. Very reminiscent of Westmalle Trappist dubbel. Very good for a kit , no twang. 750ml bottle downed at 7.2% not a good idea on a school night ehhh? Will post a pic tomorrow when I pop a 330ml bottle! acheers.

20+ year-old calvados knocked up by some old geezer on a farm in Normandy and of unknown strength. But it's definitely not 40% abv.
I'm hoping to see the morning, but not counting on it.

I love calvados from our holidays in Northern France and Brittany in the 1980's in a tent. I split Brittany from France like we split Cornwall from England.
