I'm no expert..so if you're not sure get a man in!
But...mine is a timer type which is linked to the light switch and runs for a while after the light is switched off.
It is wired with three wires..live,live from light and neutral..it doesn't use the earth. I just took a photo of the wiring terminal as the new one had the terminals in a different order, easy as they're marked. I found drilling the wall the worst bit as unless you get the same model backplates never line up!
I fitted the plate, wired it then switched the breaker back on to see if it worked..all was good so cover on.
Like I said though...IF YOU CAN'T DO IT OR ARE UNSURE... LEAVE IT!!!
You done a decent job, your right, the fan has a permanent live, a switch wire and a neutral so even if it’s not running and switched off at the light switch it’s still live at the fan (unless there is a fan isolator switch 3-pole which should kill it) it’s something to watch out for.
It’s the same with changing a ceiling light, lost count of the number of times someone has tried to fit their new light, just put all the reds and blacks together and hey ho, trips out. An unsleeved black switch wire doesn’t like being paired up with a neutral.

Bottled my Best Bitter a week ago, had to have a taste, Pilgrims Progress, using Pilgrim and Progress hops as to be expected a little sticky on the lips, but a good balance of hops and malt.

Robs twisted stout, an all grain recipe i acquired from the Malt Miller. Quite a nice beer
I, too, have a batch of Rob's Twisted Stout all primed up and ready, and can recommend it. It improves with age and it really is a nice, easy-drinking, stout. Nice one Rob.

It all starts with giving in for just one teeny tiny month and then her sentences begin with if you loved me, before you know it you have metamorphasized into the guy she wanted instead of you. ashock1
When that silliness starts, it's relationship over. Emotional blackmail is a form of abuse.

*sigh*
No, that will convince the missus that I'm an alcoholic that can't abstain from drinking for even a month.

:/
I can't remember ever having spent an entire month without a pint since the age of 16. Probably not an entire week, either. Must put it on my bucket list to see what all the fuss is about. The week, I mean, not the month.
Not this week, though. Got a barrel of Brexit Bitter to get through, black as sin, bitter as a widow's tears.

Currently drinking my latest batch of low alcohol pale ale, 0.5% max. I'm really pleased with how this one has come out - good colour, head, carbonation and very hoppy. Very close to a normal beer but just doesn't have the full mouthfeel.

It looks absolutely amazing, although I have to raise an eyebrow at the tablecloth.

Just trying these came free with something the Mrs ordered on line the brut one was really tasty the moors one good but wouldn't buy one to bitter for me, just looked hops are jester

No drinkies for a month, doing KETO so am on the dries. It's absolute torture, especially when my kegerator is sending telepathic messages tempting me in my weakest moments.

This 9% Belgian imperial stout from The Musketeers Brewery. Interesting, the Belgian yeast character comes through initially like a quad but then the deep roasted flavours really hit home. Very nice indeed.

Duopolis was my first pint on keg at Brewdog. Lovely pint but a surprise at being hazy. Full on hops though.

Today was bottling day for the Hercule Saison kit that I brewed a bit short on the sugar to ease over 3% in the bottle. Had about 3/4 of a bottle left for a sample and despite being new and uncarbed is drinkable now so have high hopes it will be a lovely pint in time.
