Hi all,

Scottish (proper north!) brewing/drinking enthusiast here.

Currently favouring smash and ciders, mostly because of limited equipment and the wife doesnt quite want me to ruin the new kitchen..yet.

Looking forward to being here.

cheers!

Oh she's plenty happy to drink various things, but laments the "mess" I create in the process!

Might just have to splash out on proper equipment so I don't cause any further grief ...

Or teach her about teamwork. You brew, she cleans up, you both drink.
What is "proper equipment"? If it works it's proper.

Process would work far better if I had actual proper brewing equipment :) Using old pots for mash/boil/hlt and no real sparge/lauter process. Might fit a tap to large pot and buy a cheap mash tun :)

Nooooooo!!!!!!
Sadly, yes :(

Not far off!

Welcome to the forum - from Murieston! At least you are in the kitchen, I'm out in the garage!
I'm in Bellsquarry, so you aren't far away! Garage likely next for me, more space to do what I need :D

Buy a brew bag and you'll be good to go.
