Registration for all (Judges, Stewards & Entrants) is already open for the competition, to be held in Bristol on Saturday the 15th of February.

The entry window opens at midday this Sunday (10th of November), and I advise that you register your account beforehand to speed up the entry process. The competition sold out in about an hour last year, so you need to be on your toes.

We still need more judges and stewards, so all of you with BJCP qualifications (and those of you thinking of getting into it), please do sign up.

I'm in for a couple of enties - undecided on what to brew yet though

I was possibly a bit over confident and took 4 spots. Got at least 1 possibly 2 beers already brewed that should be in a good place come February. Need to get at least 2 more, possibly 3, brewed before then. Not a lot of time with festive period approaching too. I feel a split batch or two in the offing.

Best of luck to anyone from the forum with entries in this competition today. I believe they're hoping to live stream the results on the Daft Cat Brewing YouTube channel later today.

My best entry, a Strong Bitter, scored a 42 but didn't place... which I must confess is somewhat disappointing. Anyway, onwards and upwards. Looking forward to seeking the feedback sheets.

I really wish I'd known about this as it was held at New Bristol Brewery. Luckily, I showed up by accident, caught the last hour of presentations. Got myself some free stuff and had a pint, was a good time.

Thanks guys. I reckon the prizes are better here on hbf....

Got 44 for the black lager, and 35 for my Russian imperial stout.oddly they didn't score my dunkel, but I know that had faults.

Brewers from Norwich got 3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze. Got to organise them to enter under the club name.

All downhill from here.....
