Hi just moved up and started brewing in Argyll.

First test brew put through my new kit is a twin hopped (citra and simcoe) APA.

Hi @Cyberjip!

Citra and Simcoe - sounds heavenly!

Yer it's ok.

Was really a test brew for my new kit.
Don't get me wrong the beer is good quality but I didn't really give the recipie is as much thought as I normally would.

Also did find a couple of niggles in the system which probably effected the end product at least a little. As well as one of my FVs getting a little warm during fermentation.

Not stopping me getting through it though.

Hi @Cyberjip, welcome to the forum. What kit are you using?

50L 3 pot 2 pump electric build, cooler box mash tun for now but rest is SS. going to hopefully upgrade to a SS Mash tun with HERMS when finances allow

Got kegs and gas all setup in the garage which is fine now but need to get that sorted befor it gets much warmer.

At present I am converting and old fridge freezer to be my Fermentation chamber,

Also planning a Keezer/Kegerator once I can get hold of the right fridge/freezer for cheap. (Not so easy in the highlands)

I will try to put up a picture but for some reason it never let's me upload them.

Cheers.

All sounds pretty good to me, I'm currently drinking a Citra and Simcoe APA, gets me through work, ahah only joking it's Cascade and Simcoe  Happy brewing.
