Hi,

Does anyone know if I can use Beer Gas (75% Nitro, 25 CO2) to dispense cider? How does it come out?

Have never tried it my guess is if you serve it at normal pressure with a normal tap it will just go a bit flat due to the lack of co2 if yi serve it at high pressure with a guiness type tap it may get a bit of the guiness like creaminess but it might not as cider is probably to thin to hold the bubbles. Hopefully someone will be able to confirm or deny as I don't really know.

Creamflow cider sounds rank, I’m pretty sure there is agood reason why they’re are no commercial examples.

You shouldn't really get the cream flow without the stout tap/restrictorplate.

Any nitro in the cider should dissipate within seconds of pouring.

Sure it's not optimal hence why there are no commercial examples, should still work and be an effective pour though.

But it will be flat unless pre carbed or at extreme pressure. And even if it is used purely for dispensing it will get flatter every time you pull a pint off.
