Huzzah! Are there any good home brew groups or shops in Brizzle you like?
Homebrew Groups... No idea. I have one friend who does homebrew, but the pair of us is about as good as it gets.

Shops... Beer Necessities at Wapping Wharf, near the City Centre is good for craft beer cans and bottles. Bottles & Books on Gloucester Road also has a selection of craft beer cans and bottles.

The Brewers Droop for homebrew supplies is on Gloucester Road, but it isn't great. Usually just grab them online now.

There's a few decent places for a good beer too. Small Bar and The Royal Navy Volunteer on King Street and Brewdog on Baldwin Street.

We also a fair few breweries in the Centre and surrounding, all within walking distance of each other too. Arbor Ales, Wiper & True, Fierce & Noble, New Bristol Brewery, Left Handed Giant, Moor Beer and Good Chemistry Brewing. And they all have taprooms open from Friday to Sunday. If you ever fancy meeting up for a beer in any, just let me know.

There's probably more. But that's what I can think of for now.

Amazing - thanks so much for taking the time to let me know all that info! It’s amazing how much things have changed since I was last in Bristol, and that was only five years ago. I didn’t brew then, so I wasn’t so attracted to shiny fermenters at the time. I think Small Bar was there before I left for NZ but it’s awesome to have so many new breweries in the city now.
I’ll let you know once I’ve got my home brew setup up and running if you ever fancy meeting up for a brew!
