So do I ferment in the fridge this week or not?

So I need to make a decision! I have my fridge which is sometimes a brew fridge and sometimes a serving fridge for my cornies. It currently has a lovely cold saison and a pilsner in there all ready to serve.

Thing is, I brewed a black ipa with US05 on Monday, currently sitting in a bucket in my lounge with the window open to keep it cool. The room is now 21c, the fermenter is just over 22c. OK 22c is a little high but within the parameters for the yeast so not concerned.
Here's the but! The weather forecast here for Friday is to get to 31c so the chances are my lounge will get to 27c.

What do you reckon? Drag out my lovely cold cornies and put the bucket in the fridge or just leave it bearing in mind most of the fermentation will probably be finished by then.

Decisions.....decisions......

Get a t-shirt over the FV with the bottom in the water, and point a fan at it. The shirt will wick the water up and as it evaporates it'll keep it cool. Should be fine...

Suggest you look at the weekly weather forecast before you put a brew on (to avoid a cooling problem), that's what I do. Some don't brew at all in the middle of summer irrespective.
Anyway you could put your FV in water in a laundry or buiders trug half filled with water and use the towel method as suggested by @Linalmeemow and change the water periodically with water you have chilled in the fridge or even use ice.

Thanks, a floppy bucket water bath is a good shout actually. I'll do that!

From my experience, US05 will deal with these temps, especially as the business end of the ferment will be done by Friday. Leave the "kids" in the fridge.
