No, i only ever use Starsan for sanitising equipment before use.

Should be OK. I use baby bottle sanitising tablets - pretty similar. What is the active ingredient.

Fred n Flo sanitising tablets from Tesco are 56 for 75p. EndBac is £19.95 for 230 but they treat a bit more water.

This makes the Tesco ones 5 times cheaper. I would warn against storing large tubs in your home. The Tesco stuff comes in sealed pouches.

They both have Sodium Troclosene as the active ingredient.

Why would you warn against keeping the tub at home? Are they potentially hazardous?

The supplier says 'for professional or commercial use only' If you spilled water into the tub, it would produce heat and chlorine fumes. But it is OK if you are careful. But why not buy the cheaper alternative? Or are you "getting" them from work? wink...
