Damn man, dive - dive - dive.
Well today's find:

Can't find a date but father in law recons turn of the millennium. Correct glass too.
Licorice/aniseed aroma. Still has good carb and crystal clear. Taste similar to aroma but also reminds me of sherry. Wife thinks its off, I'm happy 😁
Also brought a 5l can (party keg) of brew with me. Yet again tastes of tin, think I will stop with these.

There's usually a date printed on the rear label, but aniseed and sherry don't sound right at all for Orval, your wife might be right ashock1

Found batch but no date. Don't think it was quite right but enjoyed anyway. Prefer Westmalle to Orval usually.
Found an in date Dunkel now. Never had before and not a fan of wheat beer but this is ok, would be better a little colder...

I am drinking a few pints (well 500ml) to be exact of my Wilko Cerveza to which I added 280 g of Tesco clear honey as well as 1 kg Wilko brewing sugar and 500 g LDME. Came out at ABV 4.7% and tastes absolutely lovely with a slight sweet taste of the honey. I love this kit, its the second one I've done and I get compliments from friends and relatives on how good it is. Brewed on 26/06/20, so around 8 weeks or so ago.

No, not yet!

...but my delivery from beer hawk has arrived to supplement my own beers and give me more selection. I wish though the delivery had been closer to 5 o’clock because now I know all those beers are there, waiting. 🕰😖

I’m obviously sensing that Winter is coming as my beer selection is getting darker and stronger.

Having a couple of mj mixed berry cider I'm not really a cider drinker but I like this as it's not overly dry and really easy to drunk, just brewed up a woodfordes bure gold kit so a productive day so far, oh now got a fermenter free for tomorrow going to put on a mj raspberry Weisse Berliner never done a wheat beer before so looking forward to it

Off the booze for a few days as the few that I had yesterday floored me. Turns out I have the flu!

I've lost my taste so I've ordered a corona test just to be safe.

For 25p a can 2% abv these aren't that bad for a low alcohol alternative. Of course lacking flavour but had low expectations, so..

I'll make up for it with a Westmalle Tripel later

You should have put a full-stop after the word “Corona”!

Seriously though, hope all is well🤞
Well I'm hoping I just got poorly from getting rained on for 5 hours hiking. I doubt it's corona, but you never know.

Post more pictures of Trappist beer to keep my spirits up. I've got a Rochefort 6, 8, and 10 waiting for my recovery.

My first beer tonight is the Saltaire Triple Choc Stout. I bought it because I’ve never had it and was curious about just how chocolatey it could be. The answer is quite chocolatey but it is first and foremost a sweet/milk stout so you’ll be disappointed if you expect something tasting like Belgian chocolate. I do like it but I’m not sure if I will buy it again, my curiosity has been satisfied. At £2.79 for 500ml it’s not a bad price so you might like to try it at least if you’re into chocolate stout.

Decided the tripel is too much on an empty stomach so I've gone for a Black Sheep Milk Stout while my tea cooks. Everything's going into the wheat glass today

I’ve with you there! This little temptress can stay in the fridge until my tea is ready - not long now...😛
