I’m really interested in the Bouncy Bouncy Elephants - “Imperial Fruited Sour” but at 8.2% I need to psych myself up so will go to the Northern Monk next.

Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout (4.5%)
This is one of the beers I always try to keep a few bottles in the garage of, it has a lot of flavour from the roasted barley with just a hint of sweetness, and avoids what I think is a common pitfall of many milk stout of being almost sickly sweet.

First up...my Hazelwood Brewery best bitter clone..bottled on the 23rd..I think. Nicely carbed and tasting fine! This is virtually good to go!

Imagine a really strong Vodka and orange - you’re maybe not far of the mark but you’re not quite there yet. Now, add a little passion fruit to make it fragrant and sour... whoa, too much! OK, add a little mango to sweeten it.
Now you’re there, and frankly better you than me!

Easy for you to say - you didn’t have to drink the sodding thing! Thankfully neither did I. My own heat-damaged beers would have been a blessed relief!

Sooo, tonight we have a delightful NEIPA from Stewart Brewing Edinburgh.
a juicy little number based on Galaxy and Amarillo hops, very pleasant semi tropical taste with a gentle flavoursome aftertaste.
And I have more!
