only Remembered protofloc when doing my hopstand at 70c. Just chucked it in thinking better late than never.

obvioisly Should have spent 15 boiling so not sure it will do any good, but just checking it won’t do any harm. Did consider removing hop spider and raising temps again?

Everything g looked very cloudy going into fv.

my worry now is with the firings nor boiling they make take some unwanted flavours across

oh well time will tell!

I‘d be interested to hear if this turns out ok. I always use half a protofloc at last 15 minutes but have to hold my breath as it goes in because it stinks. Hope it works out ok.

Don’t think it will do any harm or add any odd flavor, but it won’t have done the job it’s meant to do which is to improve the hot break drop before adding to the fermenter. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Ok cheers, as I thought then - too late for any benefit but Luckily no no harm done.

Cold break looked good which got me thinking may have worked. Didn’t realise it was for hot break. Every day a school day in brewing!👍
