Made a Kolsch with Sorachi Ace the other week and got half a bag left. Looking for something to pair them up with in a pale ale. I believe some have had good results with Cascade. Also read online that a mix 3/1/1 of Cascade / Sorachi Ace / Chinook works well. Anyone found any other good combos?

Make a Japanese rice lager and us the remaining hops
I have the GH rice lager fermenting (recipe slightly modified) at the moment and I’m putting the 60g left over with 100g each of citra, el dorado and mosaic in a NEIPA

My first thought was it might go well with citra, but I read on another site this combo can taste like lemon pledge.

...lemon pledge.
^This, but I wouldn't blame the Citra. I brewed a Brooklyn Sorachi Ace recipe and all I got was bitter, dry, musty lemon. I drank them all (as you do), but i've never brewed anything with the remaining hops.

I tried my Sorachi Ace Kolsch last night for the first time and it is very lemony! To the point of being maybe too lemony! I only added 25g in the last 5 minutes. This hop is strong stuff.

made another Kolsch today. This time I used 30g cascade, 10g sorachi ace and 10g chinook at flame out.
