Hi,

Just opened my fermentor to take a gravity reading and saw this.

Pretty sure its not an infection. Gravity is 1012 from 1044. Yeast was us-05.

Just for my education, is this protein clumps or would it still be the krausen falling through?

Feel I am running the risk of the lid police coming for me.

Thanks

How many days has it been brewing? I still often have bits like that until the end.

Its been in the FV for about 10 days. I usually leave it 2 weeks but the airlock has had no activity for around 3 days. Lid feels like little or no co2 was produced overnight.

The sample I took tastes great.

Yeast rafts/clumps I sometimes get them, a gentle prod with a sterilised spoon and the majority will generally fall to the bottom if it bothers you
