I've never had a go at this, how does it work and how can I enter, if possible?

Just a quick question, where would a baltic porter stand with lager/kolsch/pseudo lager to include European and American styles?

Hi, sorry if this is a sill question, I'm new here! I was wondering if a dark IPA would qualify for February's competition, or is it more for porters and stouts etc.?

@dave_77 I was looking at making an English style beer for the competition. Would an old English ale fit the criteria, or do I have to stick to pale ale, bitter or mild. The plan is to enter a beer in every competition this year if I can. 👍

Due to life getting in my way this year, I'm going to step down from judging the October month. I feel it's not right for me to receive beers from all of you amazing brewers without my undivided and constant contribution to the forum. Therefore i have asked the next person in line who did not get a chance at judging. @Hopsteep , I knight you as judge of October month. May you judge righteously and enjoy every beer that is sent to you. Please keep me in mind for 2022 once the god awful years have past.
