Yeeeeah, I get those. I liked also the aviation plug, because I have one already for the heat pad. My unit is normally stored inverted. You made me think of a dummy with a flag. "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT " type thing. ... Pity I have cut into the cable. Might run it inline and test. 🙄

    Not enough sugar

This is recoverable. But we need to overcome the stabiliser. With a reversal. I am guessing this is a 5 gallon kit. Get some k1v1116 yeast. Dissolve a couple of tablespoons of sugar into a pint of tepid tap water. 20c ish. Sprinkle on the yeast and wait for it start working. Once it's...

    Glass or Plastic for Bottling

Imo Oxygen scavenging caps really aren't an issue for homebrewed ale. Designed and used extensively for packaging commercially brewed bright beer. If both filled & sealed correctly glass will beat PET shelflive* by miles. Plastic is used extensively to bring beverages on not preserve statsis...

Using M05 Mead yeast in a beer?

No. It means if there is fermentables it will keep going to 18%.. At which point it is killed by the alc it has produced. If you want to use this. Try is in a hoppy IPA @18c. Cascade, somthing like that. Should fit in OK. "M05 Mead Mangrove Jack's Yeast is a high ester-producing strain...

    Electrical connector advice

I want to rewire my boiler. Rated at 2700w on uk mains 240v. The connector chassis mount is going through 2mm stainless. So a drillable (round) hole is preferred. The original in a 10 amp kettle plug. Is an GX16 aviation plug suitable for 2700w AC 240v ?
