Is this going to be the end of the orange man?

I think he's going to lose. But this will have repercussions for us in the UK. BJ and the cons are hoping a US trade deal. If biden wins we wont get one I dont think.

Mangrove Jacks M54 at lower temperatures

I've used this at 15C. It's nice and clean and makes a nice pseudo lager. Make sure you use double the amount. Also it takes a long time to get going so dont freak out

    Floaties!

Yes it fits on the end of a racking can. You can but them from wilko (comes as part of the complete racking cane set) Wilko Syphon Pack | Wilko (see the little square looking thing on the end of the racking cane on the left)

    Keg King's Round Table

For some strange reason I've completely missed this thread. So I've just spent the lasts hour or so reading all seven pages. As has been pointed out, the last thread on the past legal battles of KK/KL had to be locked as it was going round and round in circles. Much of this thread has in a...

    Floaties!

Welcome to the forum. It seems your bottling technique could do with a bit of refining. How are you getting the beer in the bottle? Are you using a syphon with a sediment trap?

Waggle Dance(ish) recipe and want to hit a sweeter FG

I may be mis-remembering this but I think someone 'sequenced' S-04 and it turned out not to be related to whitbread. As Im sure you're aware, there's lots of myth, false information and general BS floating about, about where S-04 is actually from. Edit: This is what I was on about: "If CFG is...

A kit similar to Timothy Taylor Landlord?

Seems they change what hops they use every so often (I'd imagine due what available?) as I've never heard any references to Whitbread goldings before looking at your link

Waggle Dance(ish) recipe and want to hit a sweeter FG

I thought S-04 had a lower attenuation than US-05 at around 75% (I've only ever S-04 it once)

Waggle Dance(ish) recipe and want to hit a sweeter FG

I agree the honey with thin things out and boost the attenuation. As mentioned in my post no.7 I used MJ empire ale. I had read it gave about 65% attenuation so added golden syrup to boost the attenuation up a bit. Iirc it ended up at around 75% which is what I was aiming for. But I mashed at...

Waggle Dance(ish) recipe and want to hit a sweeter FG

Guess it depends on what your aiming for. I havent used Windsor but have used MJ empire ale yeast which has about the same attenution I believe (around 65%ish). I'd be worried about getting an even lower attenuation. But tbf I havn't tried combining a medium attenuator with a high mash temp so...

Waggle Dance(ish) recipe and want to hit a sweeter FG

I'd be wary of doing both

Q2 -Mash high. Try for 69C. You can also mash shorter say 40 mins instead of 60min. I do this when making low OG beers (which is most of em)

    Lager hops with a twist

Ah, perhaps it was called fugg love. It was a long time ago when I had it

    Lager hops with a twist

@An Ankoù I tried 'fug love' by tiny rebel once, a fuggles smash ,which was nice

    Lager hops with a twist

I made a pseudo lager with EKG once. I had a lager that was late hopped with first gold that was nice. A number of the styrian hops are good for lagers too

A kit similar to Timothy Taylor Landlord?

Actually your right. I have the same version. I was only looking at the 10min SG addition athumb..

A kit similar to Timothy Taylor Landlord?

Looking at the GW (and from what I know about landlord) recipe the EKG would be at 60min and styrians @ 10mins (but 45g is a lot more than the GW recipe though)

    Beirut.

There was a chemical expert (think he was a chemical engineer at a university) interviewed in the guardian who reconned there may have been oil mixed in there somewhere that caused the initial explosion

Eat out to help out discount scheme

I agree. With option two the important word is 'slowly'. I think BJ opened up to fast. Look at how the other devolved governments opened up slowly. Then this weekend BJ had to do a u-turn on opening up things like bowling alleys
