    Pressure barrel.

Hi. Completley new to this but noticed a couple of pointers upon racking my red ipa to a pressure barrel. I've read much advice about vaseline on the tap and cap threads and washers. What i have found is lubricating the threads is pointless as they are so course and ill fitting that a seal is...

    What did you brew today?

Just tried 3 bottles of my magnum elderflower cider brewed short to 21 litres. A bit early but a nice fizz and around 7% abv. Even the pixies that live in my ears like it!

    What did you brew today?

Just bottled my first ever brew. A magnum elderflower cider. The benchtop capper and little bottler made it a breeze. It did leave quite a bit in the bottom tho. As i left most of the gunge in the primary could i use the bottler without the sediment trap? Thanks in advance Steve

    What did you brew today?

Nearly ready to bottle a magnum elderflower cider. Just started a bad cat red ipa which smells very nice before it's even finished! I made the mistake of pitching at around 27 degrees but hopefully be ok.

    Bleach as a sanitiser.

Hi and thanks for letting me join. Please forgive my lack of knowledge as i have just started my first cider kit. I sanitised with Jsan but found soaking everything for 30 minutes a bit of a pain. Has anyone any thoughts on the bleach and vinegar no rinse method and do you have to let...
