Is there enough yeast in the Crisp lager AG kit from GEB?

    Thanks Jonathan, appreciate the response.

Is there enough yeast in the Crisp lager AG kit from GEB?

Thanks both. Good to know all is not lost at this stage. @Clint yes I think I’ll give a diacetyl rest a go. The buttery butterscotch flavour was not great. @Gerryjo good to know you’ve had success on a single packet. When I did the calculator on the Lallemand calculator it came back with 3...

Is there enough yeast in the Crisp lager AG kit from GEB?

I'm 7 days in to fermentation of my 9th AG brew and it's the Crisp German Pilsner kit from Get Er Brewed (my first time doing a lager). OG was 1.043 and it's currently at 1.027 (FV @ 13C). The kit was supplied with one 11g packet of Lallemand Diamond Lager yeast. Is this likely to be enough to...

Stepping up to an all in one

I just got a Brewzilla 35L and have made one brew with it. Seems like a decent bit of kit so far but am still learning with it.

How many litres of home brew 2020.

I’ve always posted on bottling day too. If we’re counting from pitching/going in to FV then I can add another 23l of American IPA that I did on 19th 33156L

    Young's American IPA advice

6 weeks! That's some slow going. Though might in part be down to the temp. I've got mine at 23. Glad it tasted good. I've always been impressed with this kit when I've done it so fingers crossed for this effort.

    Young's American IPA advice

I thought 2 weeks was the going rate for fermentation? Would it be worth my while pitching some US-05 in there to see things along? At this rate I’m going to be beerless by the end of Jan.

    Young's American IPA advice

I've been brewing for quite a few years and took the plunge in to all grain last summer. Having found myself short of time for a new day in December I opted to go for a quick kit to see me through and went for Young's American IPA. It's been 10 days in the FV today and it's cloudy like orange...
