Interesting point, haven’t had to change mine yet. A quick google search suggests all CR123A batteries are listed with approximate weights, 16-17g. It maybe that no two batteries are the same so perhaps we need to recalibrate after changing, regardless of brand? Streamlight looked expensive...

The Beko models in Curry’s have larger internal dimensions than Essentials for not much more cost. I have a tall and short: a full size fermenter fits the small one, barrels, kegs bottles for conditioning in the other. You can fit x2 10l barrels one one shelf.

Just had an odd observation with dry hopping. I monitor SG with a Tilt wireless hydrometer. SG fell progressively and was levelling out at day 4 which was the suggested time to dry hop. After the hop addition the SG went up by 5 points and has stayed there ... I gave the Tilt a clean at the time...
