    Roof Mounted Wind Turbine....

Hi all, Odd question perhaps but does anyone know anything about these? We are going to get some solar panels soon but this being the UK it won't be enough to power our home throughout the winter and I was looking into roof mounted wind turbines, about the 1kw range. I've read the rules and...

    Skinners

https://mailchi.mp/28d696819025/crowdfunding-launch?e=[UNIQID] I've heard rumours for a little while but it seems that the pandemic has hit Skinners hard. They have started a crowdfunding campaign to try and keep it going till the pubs open. It'll be a sad day if they go to the wall.

    Apple Tree Canker?

Hi, any keen gardeners out there? My daughters apple tree has what I think is canker on the trunk, anyone else concur? I would be devastated to lose it so has anyone had any success getting rid? I plan to cut out the rotten bark and seal with some sort of heal and seal treatment.

    Black IPA

Hiya, I brewed this Black IPA a little while ago and was going to brew it again soon, I really enjoyed it, it had a lovely roasty piney character which I realise isn't necessarily what an IPA should have. I can't work out why it was so roasty looking at the recipe? I remember it wasn't that...

Hiya, I ordered 10kg of uncrushed crisp malt last month by accident, I'm not going to get a mill just for that amount so wondered if anyone wanted it? Don't think it's worth posting but if anyone was down in cornwall over the summer they are welcome to it? I used about 1kg of it out of...

    Belgian Fishermans Stout

Hi all, but especially @strange-steve , a while back we were discussing how my Fisherman Stout recipe had a similar grist to a Belgian style and mentioned that I should try T-58 yeast. So this is my original stout recipe, would you keep this as it is or change it in anyway? I was going to...
