    Squeeze the bag don’t squeeze the bag. Use a basket, use a bag. Scoop the break, don’t scoop the break Leave the trub, transfer the trub. Transfer to secondary, dont transfer to secondary. Homebrew Forum, Jim’s Brew Kit :)

    At the brewery I use 3 tabs in a 385L boil - so 1 tab per 128 litres works for me. Great finished clarity but with some additional silica based finings in the FV and casks. For smaller brews at home I use a half in 30L, any more and I get 6 inches of egg drop soup that won't settle. Having...

    Just to add, Crisp Malting's BBE is exactly 2 years from production date for crushed malt.

    Hi, that's awesome thanks a lot. I must sort that soon, problem is I cant make casks fast enough for the pubs right now. But it's something we have to find a way to do and soon. I have all the gear, just not the liquid!
