hi i have a red wine kit and as mentioned they are a bit like a rose wine i was thinking of using an amount[not sure how much yet] of elderberries to give it some body anybody got any thoughts on this idea please
i seem to remember somebody else asking this and i believe the answer was no as the screw top bottles are made of a thinner glass and may crack when a cork is driven into it
most lagers and about 3 pints of anything as dark as hobgoblin is the limit for me, now ipa or gold on the other hand is a whole different story:drink:
i am on a cascade single hop which is the recipe from the G H book for amarillo single hop but a lack of planning led to a change of hop but i must say it is quite nice and drinkable
Going to be a 10l-15l brew of the honey porter from the GH book for me at the weekend and just done the elderflower ale from the same book for the 3rd time
just come across this thread as i drink a pint of elderflower beer i made using the recipe in the greg hughes book that i have done twice now and its very nice and i would recommend it :)
