    I didn't take any readings. Honestly I always forget to do gravity readings and I don't have a PH meter. Taste wise it wasn't overbearingly sour, but it definitely had a tartness to it.     The promised update from bottling day. I got 22 650(ish)ml bottles from just shy of 20 litres. The tap and siphon were both clogging to the point it wasn't worth the effort carrying on. Had a little taster though and I did good. A little thinner than I would have liked but tasted amazing...

    I boiled them on the stovetop separate to the boil of the wort. I'm not sure what I meant, by doing it the other way around. Anyway, it's bottling day today. Expect pictures later (edit, hopefully not of how i killed my beer).

    UPDATE! I transferred this to a secondary fermenter and added another 1.1kg of blackberries yesterday. I only boiled rather than pureeing and straining the second load of blackberries.     Not yet. Got a Blackberry Sour on the go at the moment, so if that goes well I might repeat it later in the year (in Blackberry Season) then do as @An Ankoù suggested and add Cordial after fermentation. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

    Quick update. Brewday went off almost completely hitchless. Had slightly more blackberries than I thought so 1.2kg went in rather than the 1kg i intended. Left it chilling overnight and added the yeast this morning. Smells and looks amazing.

    Hi all, I quite fancy making a Vimto flavoured Sour. Has anyone done this/have any advice. As I understand it simply adding Vimto won't help as the yeast does some weird stuff with flavours and sweeteners. Would probably use Philly Sour yeast rather than doing any fancy souring process...

    Brewing today and the Olicana hops I've been sent smell like Onions/Garlic. Luckily I have an excess of Harlequin and Jester so i've managed to substitute on the fly. Has anyone else had this problem? They arrived and they didn't feel clumped together like the other hops I ordered with them...
