    adding campden tabs

    I do the same when I rack but do I also add a campden tab when it has full cleared and been back sweetened right before bottleing? Thats what I am unsure about.

    I feal sure this has been asked before but I can not find it. Do you add campden tablets before bottleing wine? The only info I have found is some say yes others say no. And if you do add them do you bottle straight after or wait say 24 hours for the gas to disparate?

    Tinned Peach Wine

    is this method any better than making simple wow inspired juice wines? more body, better taste maybe? Just curious as im going to try a pineapple wine and could use tinned pineapple rather than 100% from concentrate juice.

    sterilizing corks??

    I am no expert but they seem OK, I went with spraying them with vindine solution waiting 30 second before inserting them which should be enough to kill any beasties. They went in easy enough with a twin leaver corker so guess time will tell.

    sorry if this has been answered but i have trawled the net trying to get a definitive answer do you sterilize corks and if you do how? some say you should boil them others say this is the worst thing to do some say leave them in sterilizing solution to soak for 30 min some say you don't...

    I've just done a blackberry wine with similar results, I used 1kg of sugar and 3 lb of blackberry s which fermented down to 992 the in 8 days I thought it had stalled at first till I took a gravity reading
