    I feal sure this has been asked before but I can not find it. Do you add campden tablets before bottleing wine? The only info I have found is some say yes others say no. And if you do add them do you bottle straight after or wait say 24 hours for the gas to disparate?

    straining wine off the pulp, what do you use?

    After you have fermented wine on fruit in a bucket what do you use to remove the bits? I know you are supposed to use muslin but I also know just how inventive some of you are :hat:

    wine in 25l fv

    First off apologies if this has already been asked but I am going to make blackberry wine and the recipe I am going to follow says to start the fermentation on the blackberry's in 4L of water in a 10L FV for the first week then strain into a DJ.     finings question

    I have a batch of TC that is been very slow to clear, if i add some finings like quick clear will I still be able to do secondary fermentation in the bottles?

    when to bottle turbo cider?

    Youngs Dried Active Yeast, Any good?

    Unfortunately I don't have a home brew shop near me and I am going to Blackpool tomorrow and have found a nearby brew shop. On there website they have Youngs Dried Active Yeast in 100g tubs for £1.22 and that seems awful cheap to me. Does anyone know if it's any good??

    over fill???

    I started a wine kit 4 days ago and yesterday i toped up the dj as the kit said to top up to the 4.5l, now i have got frothing in the air lock. What should i do? I was thinking about removing some of the brew from the dj and replacing the air lock but should i just leave it?

    Lemon and Pear cider

    Has anyone got a recipe for a lemon and pear cider like Brothers lemon and pear? http://www.brotherscider.co.uk/our-cider/brothers-cloudy-lemon I'm not after anything too demanding as this will be my first just a 4 gallon made using fruit juice from the supermarket.
