    Thank's for the help i will give 40ppm of chalk in the mash another go first i have a newer batch of Ph papers that i will try.As for the Ph meter kit it look's very nice but i couldn't justify paying that for something that i would hardly ever use :)

    I was finding that the stainless mesh sheath collapsed so tightly round my 15mil copper strainer that i was getting slow transfers.I solved the problem by cutting a 22mil piece of copper then drilling lots of holes in it & sliding it on top of the 15mil copper pipe.It handled 500g of pellet hops...

    Your cooler looks identical to my two smaller machines except mine has little water circulators not pythons.My bigger machines don't have pythons either so i fitted 12 volt caravan pumps .I am very pleased as it's working very well the TC-10 is great also. :party:
