Supermarket Juice Wine How To guide and Recipes.

Ive used pineapple juice before and wouldnt again. It was far too over powering. I think you'll be better off with the apple juice. If the Richies isnt equal to 1 litre of juice then I'd add another litre of a juice to the mix.

That juice sounds a perfect combination. I would use 2 litres per gallon to start but leave headroom for late addition. After initial fermentation (bubbling slows down) top up with 1/2 litre more of the same juice to just below neck of demijohn. Good luck!

I found that many of the juice wines that I have made lose their fruity flavours after fermentation..... BUT not the Grape Strawberry & Kiwi. Every sip is bursting with flavour..... strawberry comes though brilliantly. I hope you love it too :)

I thought I wouldn't use the Red Grape, Strawberry & Kiwi juice again due to the large amount of sediment...... however now it's bottled and being drunk it's one of my best tasting wines so I will certainly be making more :) I only lost about 1/2 bottle due to sediment. After racking I put all...

Thank you. I need to top it up a lot so think I'll just make 5 bottles out of this lot rather than dilute it. Ive just started another lot using 1 litre Tesco fresh Apple & Raspberry 1 litre Tesco fresh Apple & Blackcurrant It's going like wildfire! I'm leaving the airlock off and...

Hi Chippy I have a question... Im making WOWs and when racking my last one lost a lot due to sediment. Ive racked it, de-gassed, added crushed Campden tablet and Potasium Sorbate. If I top up with juice at this stage will it ferment into alcohol or stay as juice in the wine so lowering the...

Did you use 2 litres of Asdas RGJ, Strawberry & Kiwi juice in 1 gallon? I do like the sound of this one and might have to give it a try :) My best juice wine so far has been ... 1½ L Red Grape 89%, Rasberry 7%, Cherry 4% Tesco fresh juice + ½ L Apple 90%, Raspberry 9%. Tesco fresh...

How did you rack it? Did you syphon it off into another demijohn? If you do that carefully staying just above the sediment you shouldn't get much sediment in the 2nd demijohn. I ended up buying a syphon tube with a filter on the end. It help keep sediment out too.
