Can anybody recommend me a christmas beer kit? Looking to get one on this month in plenty of time for christmas. I was thinking of doubling up on the brewferm winter ale but not sure.

Put this mj kit on last night and thought I had brewed it the same as the last time I did it. Only just realised that instead of 600gr of sugar, I dumped just over 1kg in. Anybody done similar, and if so what was it like?

Does anybody have any experience with these hops and if so, do you think they would work as a dry hop in a mj cider kit? I am looking to try a few ciders with different hops this year and the lemon drop sounds really appealing.

I am hoping to bottle this brew tonight providing the gravity is good but unsure of what kind of carbonation to go for. Has anybody done this kit and if so what kind of carbonation did you go for? I was planning on using up the carb drops I have left and putting 2 per 500ml bottle.

running low on chemsan but found this in the back of the cupboard. Must be at least 4 years old. The colour has changed to a dark orange. Do you think it will be good to use? I have looked all over the bottle but can't find an expiry date anywhere.

Does anybody know how much a coopers carbonation drop weighs? Trying to decide weather to batch prime or use carb drops but I don't know what weight of dextrose I would need. It's for a mangrove jacks citra hopped cider. I did their standard apple cider a few months back and used 2 carb drops...

I have a king keg top tap free if anybody local to me(liverpool) would like to collect. It was used once a few years back and has sat unused ever since. May need new seals etc after sitting for so long but otherwise in perfect order. I can send pics if needed

I have a wilko hoppy copper bitter and a black rock bock kit and if I'm honest I don't know if I want to do them on their own. I was thinking of combining the 2 maybe with a dry hop but was wondering if anyone had done anything similar? Don really want to waste them if its not likely to work out.

Hi all. Just managed to pick up a caxtons best bitter for £6.50 in wilkos. Bit of a bargain I thought, especially as there is nothing wrong/missing from it. Does anybody have any idea how best to brew it? Have got some muntons brew enhancer. Would that be ok or would I need more fermentables...

Can anybody advise how much priming sugar I should use for 20l coopers stout. Going to bottle this and was thinking about 80gr-100gr but not sure. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a coopers stout in the fv at the minute and I want to bottle it. Problem is I only have 750ml swing tops. Are these too big? Not worried about priming as I'm going to batch prime when I transfer to the bottling bucket. Just seems like the bottles are a bit on the large side.

I have just barrelled some bitter and noticed this morning that there is a leak around the tap. Its not where the tap meets the barrel but where the tap itself slits in (if you know what I mean. I did put Vaseline around all the joints so don't know what to do. If I pop the tap out it will leak...

Can someone tell me if it's ok to put wine in swing top bottles? I have a wilko strawberry wine that is in the clearing process and I don't have any wine bottles or corks/corker. I do have a load of 750ml swing tops tho both clear and brown.
