    Dark Rock Brewing

Yes you will be fine, mine is only 15 ltrs and it's plenty big enough. The rest is topped up with cold water in the fermenter

    Dark Rock Brewing

I've done the Punk a couple of times and it's fantastic, very very similar to Brewdog. I'm currently drinking their Shipyard which is excellent and am about to bottle the Birra Italia which I have high hopes of. As already stated these are a great improvement over 'normal' kits, A bit more...

    Dark Rock Brewing

Yes should've said part grain, a bit more expensive than Festival but I was very impressed with the amount of ingredients and if it's any good there are plenty of others I want to try

    Dark Rock Brewing

Just brewed the Punk IPA today and it smelt fantastic, loads of hops and easy to follow instructions. Also got their Shipyard to do next so it's great to see some good feedback on here. Normally stick to Festival and Youngs 2 pouch kits but these really look like a step up in quality Fingers...

    AArgh, is it worth bottling

it’s the Razorback which is why I was reluctant to bin the lot as it’s one of my favourites but judging by the smell it looks like I dodged a bullet and it may turn out ok

    AArgh, is it worth bottling

Thanks for the reassuring replies, much appreciated. It certainly hasn’t stopped it fermenting , checked this morning and it’s gone off like a rocket so I guess I’ll just leave it now and see. Hopefully fixed the dodgy FV and will stick another kit in there Thanks again

    AArgh, is it worth bottling

After a grueller of a day I've come home to find my FV leaking. Made a Festival kit yesterday and there was 2 litres of it all over the garage floor . Panic set in and I grabbed a brand new FV that I'd just bought and threw the rest of the 20 litres into it, only thing is I hadn't...

    Cwtch by Tiny Rebel Brewery

Probably drank it over a 3 week period, should've just left it as it was very overpowering. Drinkable but not as enjoyable as the Festival kits I'm used to

    Cwtch by Tiny Rebel Brewery

The Cwtch is very very hoppy, it was way too much for me despite liking hoppy beers. Managed to get it down but I won’t be doing it again

New member, i think my first brew is 👎🏻

That was my first brew and had the same problem, it was rank. I was going to swill the lot down the plughole but called into the LHBS and he told me to do what everyone has done so far - store it away and forget about it for a few weeks. It will get better but there are better kits out there...

    one supplier or shop around?

I have a great homebrew shop in Burnley and I'd be gutted if it closed. It may cost a few pence more than online but it's worth it to me to have somewhere local that I can call in anytime and pick up whatever I want

    Easy Keg 5L

It looks fine, a co2 cannister would normally do 3-4 kegs easily but lately it's only doing 1.On Saturday I noticed that I could hear a very faint leak but couldn't work out where it was coming from - bloody annoying

    Easy Keg 5L

That looks fantastic, I'd really appreciate your feedback as it's something I've been looking at myself, my Party Star tap has started losing pressure so need something to replace it
