They are great kits, I’ve probably done 15-20 of them (partial mash) and if you’re happy to spend the extra time on them compared to extract kits they’re well worth it. Just ordered 3 more today, the Milky Way Stout, Birra Italia & the London Pride, haven’t done any of these before.

Started this kit on 10 October, just had a bottle and it’s bloody lovely!! Turned out REALLY nice...! I didn’t add any sugar as didn’t want it too strong, it came out at 5.9%

All bottled, orange caps are the Landlord and red caps are Proper Job. acheers.

Both very nice, think I slightly prefer the Razorback but they’re pretty similar and both very drinkable, each coming in at about 5.9% acheers.

These 3 arrived today, my first venture into partial mash, looking to get started on Saturday hopefully with the Timothy Taylor Landlords kit. Any tips or advice more than welcome! :cheers2:

Have to keep all of the bottles in the garage now and it was fairly cold last night, just wondering how this will affect the beer as you’re supposed to keep it warm for a while before getting it cold, will it affect the carbonation etc?

Did 85 x 500ml, looking forward to sampling them in a month or so...!

To be honest it’s the first time I’ve done it, always used pressure barrels in the past, I actually quite enjoyed it and it wasn’t half of much as a ball ache as I thought it was going to be! athumb..
