    What are you drinking tonight.

Christmas Day and just cracked open a bottle of Brewferm Christmas Ale that I vottled eight weeks ago. Bloody lovely. Rich malt with a real mouthwatering after-tang. For some reason the photo will not upload.

    Coopers Sparkling Ale

I'll give it a go. I've done four other Coopers kits, the Australian Pale Ale, Stout, Real Ale and the Dark Ale. All have been excellent .

    Coopers Sparkling Ale

Well I bottled it today and whilst a bit cloudy still it tasted ok. Quite dry and hoppy, so fingers crossed for cracking open the first bottle in a few weeks' time! I've been brewing again for just over a year and done almost 20 kits so far without a duff batch to date. One brew (can't recall...

    Coopers Sparkling Ale

Warmer than that. About 22-23 C. It was at 1.004 two days ago, but I didn't measure the OG.

    Evil dog IPA

Well it certainly tastes very nice indeed and the stated 7.5% is probably conservative! I put one lot of hops in after 6 days and another after 9 days. It took a full two weeks to ferment.

    Evil dog IPA

Just got one of these kits and looking forward to brewing it. If it's as good as their Bad Cat Imperial Red then I'll be very happy.

    Born again homebrewer

Ok as the gravity is now stable I've just moved the fermenting barrel into the garage for a day. I'll bottle tomorrow and bring them back into the warm

Cheers! My post was moved here by the Mod. It's Bad Cat Imperial Red, 7.5%. Would putting the bulk brew into the cold now not affect the success of secondary fermentation in the bottles?

    Born again homebrewer

Hi I'm a born again homebrewer. Used to dabble a bit decades ago but now returned and my very first brew is this one! It's 17 days into primary and has just finished "flooping" through the airlock. I have used a fermemnter with a drainage tap and all has gone very well so far. The sample I...
