    Been a while

Haven't done this for a while. Been over a year since I've brewed. I lost motivation after all my brews turned to drain cleaner . Weve had various health issues/ work life balance etc. So couldn't find the motivation to brew. So far I accidentally ordered an extract kit instead of an all grain...

    Beer from the Fv

What should the beer taste like from the Fv I always taste it when I take a sample to read the FG .. should it taste like the beer you've made? I assume it should. Just less fizzy. The sample tasted today had a fair amount of trub in it.so I'm hoping the next sample is better. It wasnt...

    Cleaning immersion chillers.?

When my chiller goes in the kettle it's dull looking. (It's copper) When it comes out it's shiney and clean. I can't help thinking that the tarnish goes in to your beer. Can it be clean prior to using it? Soaked over night in Pepsi or something. Does anyone clean there's? Or just dunk it in and...

so did my first brew in a while.. mash stuck all most as soon as it started recirculating . it went down the overflow. so had to turn it all off, wait for it to dribble through ,remove the top gauze and stir, then start again, this caused the wort to burn on the element and a boil was...
