Tyson Fury Says He'll Knock Anthony Joshua Out In Just Three Rounds

It was an interesting fight at the weekend, Joshua looked very, very comfortable. If he can avoid fighting the way Fury wants him to he'll win, but Fury is a very clever, unpredictable and infuriating boxer. I'm not sure Joshua has the patience to avoid falling into Fury's traps.

    Ooooops

I've done plenty of DIPAs with going on for a kilo of sugar in there to raise the starting gravity with good outcomes, and it's common in Belgian strong ales too so it'll still be drinkable for sure but as someone has already said it's going to be a sipper not a guzzler if you have plans the day...

Should Christmas be restricted this year? [poll]

Thanks, we absolutely wouldn't go if we weren't sure we were doing it safely. It's been months since I've been in contact with anyone outside my wife and kids (other than supermarket shopping) and the same for my parents. If there's any increase in risk - for example if the kids have to...

Should Christmas be restricted this year? [poll]

No on this one - I know how careful my family and I have been, and how my parents mental wellbeing has suffered as a result of not seeing anyone. I'm confident that we can see them safely.

Would you still vote for Brexit?

Voted leave, would still vote leave. Love hearing the "you lost, move on" crowd who forget they campaigned to leave for years after the country voted to join the EEC all those years ago. If you think something is a bad idea you don't just give up on it because a slim majority say so.

Newly Discovered Asteroid 2020 XX3 on course for a close encounter with Earth

I think a lot of it would have burned away on re-entry but if not then yeah, that's going to make a hole!

Newly Discovered Asteroid 2020 XX3 on course for a close encounter with Earth

Yeah, that would have been the icing on the cake! Looks like it's pretty small though, and this kind of thing happens all the time - there have been loads that have been bigger and loads that have been closer.

    Trump v Biden.

I'm not sure you can really count him as a successful business man either given the number of bankrupt companies he's been involved with. I'm sure I read a stat at some point that said he'd have made more money by taking the initial cash gift his father gave him and sticking it in the bank at...

    Trump v Biden.

"Evil" is a funny concept, not one that I'm sure really exists. I think Trump more likely has a series of psychiatric problems that lead him to act the way he acts.

Would you still vote for Brexit?

Older people tend to die in greater numbers though, the mortality rate does increase as people get older.

Would you still vote for Brexit?

No, and I've already said earlier in this thread that anyone who who try to skew the result in that way would be ridiculous. A loaded question's a loaded question, and this ain't a loaded question. If you're concerned about deliberate sabotage of the poll why not have the OP add to the...

Would you still vote for Brexit?

Not really a loaded question - it's perfectly legitimate to sample from a pool of respondents who have already confirmed they voted one way or another.

Would you still vote for Brexit?

That's different to a loaded question though, a loaded question is designed to lead the respondent to answer the way you want them to - what you're describing is a concerted effort by respondents to skew the answer. I'm interested to know why the question is loaded.

    Trump v Biden.

Can you provide links to his evidence?

Would you still vote for Brexit?

I'm not sure there'd be any point in doing that at all? It's all over, a poll on here makes not a jot of difference to anyone. I'm as far into the remain camp as possible, but attempting to skew a poll on a homebrew website would just seem daft to me!

Would you still vote for Brexit?

Whether the issues are connected is immaterial, don't complain about divisive posts when you're just as guilty of doing it yourself.

Would you still vote for Brexit?

"Is it just me or is this forum overly socialist" You like starting divisive nonsense when it suits you though?

    Greg Hughes recipes

Given most of the flavour comes from the yeast, as long as you've got enough bitterness in the boil you'll be right I reckon.

    Greg Hughes recipes

I've done this recipe with this yeast and it was fantastic, surprisingly close to real Weihenstephaner. I'd recommend starting it cool (16c if you can get that low) and then letting it rise gradually up to around 20c over the next few days - it's supposed to get very banana-y if it goes above...

    Alzheimer's and football.

The timing was fine, Lawes was committed to the tackle before the ball was released. You have to allow that or the fly half would dummy the pass every time.
