    Temperature controlled fermenter

Yeah, the thermowell I have is 40cm long and the barrel is 75cm high so fairly happy it'll get a good reading.

    Temperature controlled fermenter

Hi, I'm building an 85l fermenter out of a blue food grade barrel. I want to have some decent temperature control. My current plan is as follows; - drill hole for ball valve - wrap barrel in electric blanket - wrap in insulating foil bubble wrap - seal seams with aluminium tape - drill lid and...

    Kegging setup advice

Hi, I'm pretty new to kegging. I want to keg in sankey kegs but I have some ball lock conversion so I think thats okay. If all I'm doing is carbonating beer in kegs, what do I need? Need to carb up three kegs a time. Also, any advice on good places to get this equipment would be appreciated.

    250l fermenters x 2 for sale

Hi guys, I bought two Speidels Fermentation Eggs (250l version) a while ago. They look ace but given the batch sizes I'm doing I've come to the conclusion that they're just too big. So, anyone looking for some 250l plastic fermenters? I've attached a link to where they can be bought new. I...

    100l kegs

Hey guys, I'm looking for a 100l sankey keg to carbonate beer. The only place I've found that does them is Crusader Kegs and I expect I can't just buy one. Any other ideas? Cheers!

Right, some progress made. Painted, insulated and control panel done. Few more bits before the brewing starts.

    The brew house is go!

Right, brewery "hackathon" planned this weekend. Early start and keep going until it's done... Jobs remaining are; - Fitting a tap to the cold water pipe and extending it to its final position, - painting walls, ceiling and floor, - wiring the control panel up and connecting all of the...

    The brew house is go!

Going good. The day job got a bit mental which slowed things up a bit but planning on finishing the control panel next weekend. I've got two Fermenteggs (250l) which are bigger than I thought, but should still be good on room.

    Wanted 200l Stainless Steel Vessels

Hey man, I got some great ones from Bridgewater brewing. I paid £224.00 each but I'd be shocked if they were still that cheap.

    100-200l set up wanted

Thing is, just depends on what you want. I feel mine was on the cheaper end of the spectrum. I'd budget about 10% for unexpected things, such as much better kit for slightly more money becoming available

    The brew house is go!

Re ventilation, I'm going to put in a bathroom fan eventually. Initially, there are two doors so I'll just be relying on flow through. Put together the brewery today...

Potential Micro pub homebrew shop & nano brewery

I think there just needs to be access. I don't think there is anything requiring separate toilets (if there is the Feds need to go out around mine) but I don't think that's the problem. I absolutely love little beer bars, where you can comfortably spend the afternoon. The only thing is, is 15...

This is not that exciting an update, but I had my Alcohol Wholesalers license interview today. Fingers crossed all will be approved!
